While the ending may be sudden. The times we had were amazing.
Thanks for being here for Rec Room Achievements, through all the ups and downs.

I remember the first time Shell Lurker/Shlorer mentioned the idea of Rec Room Achievements in Tarapuetic's Discord server. I was instantly hooked on the idea.

"I wanna make a discord server purely for getting roles, it'll be rec room achievements and will just be a bunch of things and much like here, if you send a screenshot of proof you get the role. Also if I do make that: admins/Tara do I have yalls permissions to snatch some of the role ideas from here?" Shlorer: 07/01/2024, 1:48am GMT

For some reason, the concept stuck in my head, that day when he posted the link, I joined. The idea for a custom bot came very quickly after.

"keeping it bot free would be awesome, but i would recommend getting some bot to manage the message in #request-an-achievement to make sure that people aren't spamming in there and allowing the admins to focus on giving out roles rather than moderating the roles channel"

Watching how much the server grew past that point was insane. I loved working away on developing new stuff while Shlorer managed the community.
